Exactly the same. Oasis has that "The World's Coastlines" show. WOW there's some amazing footage in there.

I find RUSH is needing to update their programming, but its still alright. Discovery HD is awesome, especially that insect show with the French Dude.

that dude creeps the hell out of me. i don't know if it's just the accent or the way he just casually sticks his hand into the den of a scorpion, but there's something just not right with him

I like most of the HD specialty channels. Right now I'm watching The Voyageur Dynasty on Equator. Great show for Canadian western history on the French voyageurs and their interactions with the Natives. It was far easier to change the voyageurs into Indians then the other way around.

Food Network. I enjoy everything about the food prep process...from having good kitchen equipment (don't get me started), planning menus, shopping for ingredients, doing the prep, cooking, and then, of course, eating. I even have, and use, the correct cleaning products for my cookware....so food network is pretty nearly always interesting.

Same here. My wife and I watch these type of shows more than anything else by far. The two shows "Location Location Location" and "Relocation Relocation" with the same two presenters are our favourites. Pretty much any real estate shows we find worth watching though, especially the British ones though. I guess that means that HGTV is the main specialty channel we watch.

Being a Brit, I used to watch a lot of BBC Canada but not so much anymore.

Best cable network ever. Could not agree more.

I enjoy Discovery Channel and all of it's sub-channels as well.

What's yours?

Mine is Food Network. I dunno, I can never get bored with watching people cook stuff.
I love the food network, their programming has improved, especially with shows like Everyday Italian...Giada DeLaurentis is such a hottie.

But my favorite would have to be Fox Sports World, with all the soccer programming you could want. Being able to watch the Argentinian league is my favorite part of this network.

Question though - and something that I thought that currently sucks on Discovery. I have a Bell ExpressVu and am a big fan of Deadliest Catch on Discovery. However, for some reason, the Discovery channel I get isn't showing it (I know it's on as the season finale was supposed to be last night). Is this some stupid difference between the Discovery US channel an Discovery Canada or what? I haven't been impressed that I haven't been able to find the Deadliest Catch on the Bell - it's a great show...
I knew I was posting about this at some point. For those interested, I think the Deadliest Catch Season 2 (I believe) finally began on Discovery Channel here in Canada tonite. This is, IMO, the best reality show out there - it's more of documentary on crab fishing really. Pretty sombre end to tonite's episode as they caught rescue attempt of the capsizing of a fishing vessel called the 'Ocean Challenger' in the Bering Sea in late October 2006 relatively close to where the crab fishing boats are. Only one of the four members of the vessel survived.
