Wooh! I'm in the Calgarypuck top three! 6006! I'm particularly fond of my most recent maze, which is not only effective, it's also quite geometrically nice. I hope the little guys take time to notice the symmetry to it.

I can never bring down those two flying bosses, though.

Some nice scores octothorp is currently leading on Normal (medium) with 6538 - and BananaPancakes with 5218 on hard (wow).

Yeah I notice these threads pop up the night before my exams.

P.S. That was last night. And the exam went very poorly today.

P.S.S. MORE COOL GAMES PLEASE- I have another exam that I need to not study for.

I played a few rounds before I started to get the hang of it. Pretty sweet game, alhtough hella addictive. Only problem is that once you figure out how you stop the critters and start picking up points there isn't a whole lot of margin for error on the CP leaderboard. The top ten scores are all within about 500 pts of each other. Meh, maybe I'll just try again.

The problem with this game is that the cost/benefit of the area-affect weapons doesn't scale nicely. Most of the time I wound up with a bunch of laser towers, and air weapons. 4736 and level 83...

Who is czure32? Just curious - you got a great score for only having 13 lives left.

after trying to get the top score for a while I came to a realization that it may not necessarily be beneficial to try to kill everything but to kill everything you can as fast as you can

now to try to get the high score on hard

Ok I can't figure out what the hell you guys are doing to get those scores.

On medium I can't get over 2900 points and just can't pass level 42. Once the flying guys come out I already have a maze full of creeps and it all goes to hell from there.

I have to completely rethink my strategy. Every single time without fail level 42 kills me.

If you click on the name beside the score it will show you the map that was used to get that score. You get points for killing, but you get extra points for triggering the next wave early (but they only get added if you make it to the end) and you you get bonus based on the number of lives remaining when you finish.

There's only 2 spots where guys get past me - near the start if a "Spawn" creep pops through the maze before it is complete, and near the end when the flying bosses go by.
I just need to shave 30 seconds or so off my time to get the top score back (*shakes fist at czure32*)

I'm thinking about working on the "Challenge 100" level.

I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of this game - I think I may need to donate to him.
