i hate the show ...

how do you choose the apprentice of a multi million dollar company/project based on how many car/dog washes they can sell.

they arent really given any high level management scenarios to work with. it is simply who can run the best lemonade stand week after week.

am i the only one who finds it a farce that it has nothing to do with management solutions?

Well.....one of the most important aspect of managment is managing people.....some of the tasks show how well these people can manage others. I agree tho, not the way I would want to hire someone.

Anyone still watching this . . . . echo, echo, echo . . .?

In prior years, you might have laughed at the woman who quit just as you might have laughed at that pansy Osten on Survivor a few years ago . . . . yet she came across with a pretty good "this is a pretty stupid way to pick someone to work with you" kind of attitude that had a ring of truth and sincerity about it.

I'm sure she's a surefire guest on The View in a few days as well.

Watched my first episode of the season and enjoyed it. The boardroom scene was pretty entertaining, but there was no chance that this girl was gonna stay anyways, and Trump knew that. She was a moron, their starline tour looked boring as hell and they should have had their mic tested first.

The rpoblem I have with this one is that Trump/Burnett are trying ot make it too Survivor-ish with the sleeping in tents and exempt from challenges.

The other team and Heidi in particular have done jack to deserve everything they have got and the other team is basically decimated because they lost by like 20 buck in the first task.

I can't wait for Heidit oget fired. She has done basically nothing but acts as though she is better than everyone. Basically I hope that whole team gets fired because 90% of the time we have seen theyhave been gloating about basically nothing. They seem real arrogant and unlikeable.

I think they should have stayed with the old format and leave these stupid changes for Survior 2,000 or whichever season they are on now.

I totally agree. The show has always been a farce, but last night's boardroom antics on the part of the Trumps was just embarrassing and juvenile. My favourite part?

Donald Trump: "Are you quitting?! What does that make you? A quitter? Are you a loser?!..."

Very classy, Donald.

Anyone who buys wholesale into the Trump Family mantra of "Never, EVER quit...EVER!!" must be classified as horribly shortsighted. I applaud the young woman for exhibiting the foresight to recognize the show for what it is: an entertainment bizzarre which provides no real benefit beyond tabloid recognition.

My only problem with her quitting is that had she won her task, I HIGHLY doubt she would've requested to resign.

It was over the top but I would have to agree with Trumps son when he questioned why they would hire her in the future when she suggested that she would like to be hired through the "conventional" ways. "Well I quit when I was about to get fired on your TV but you should hire me now because I am willing to work through adversity as long as it isn't too hard."

It also overshadowed the fact that she was garbage and going home anyways. Easy to quit like that when you know in 15 minutes you are fired anyways. I guess that this way she can say she quit and wasn't fired but her performance especially last night was brutal. She was doing everything she could to try and make sure she wasn't responsible for anything and therefore was an awful leader and responsible for them losing the task.
