Stelmach and Morton will be my one and two... just not sure on who to put where yet... i keep flip-flopping..

I dont like Dinning because, like mentioned before, he reminds me alot of Paul Martin..

My political views follow most closely with Morton, but I worry about the alienation of other party members that someone else mentioned.

Stelmach to me is a guy that seems to go right up the middle between Dinning and Morton, and is relatively Safe as a pick... but are Albertan's ready for a safe leader?

I will most likely be debating between the two until right up to the point i put pen to paper.

Exactly. I changed my mind in the second post... Dinning and Morton both need to ensure they make the top two to give them both a chance.

Exactly. I could see Oberg people going over to Morton, Hancock most likely goes to Dinning.

Firefly makes an interesting point here though, Stelmach could really be the dark horse that sneaks in under the radar. However, in Albertan leadership elections there is always the gatecrasher factor that can distort predictions.

Morton could potentially recieve the same "housewife" support that pushed Klein over Betowski in 1992.

Actually, I think Stelmach wins regardless of who he ends up with. Dinning supporters won't put Morton as their second, and Morton supporters won't put Dinning as their second. If Stelmach makes the top two, he's pretty much guaranteed a win.
I get that part....but just because the other leader seekers say they will vote for certain members....doesn't mean their supporters will.

Yeah, and I get that too. Thats why I said Dinning and Morton need to ensure they are the last two on the ballot... they need to fight for the support of whoever supported the losers.

I said IF Stelmach gets top two, he wins.
