Dude, I haven't really been stressing out about it, waiting for the perfect gift idea to pop into my head theeeeeeeeeeen.... WHAM! It's December 20th! And I'm thinking a bag of Turkey Jerkey from sev is going to be my only option pretty soon here.

The dude's got all the gadgets and gizmos that are at least within my price range... and sex... well, that's a nice stocking stuffer... but I need a really kick ass gift, one that he'll really like.

I hate Christmas! Bah Humbug!

I hate to say it, I really, really do. But my God, it's amazing how fast I fell in love with a little, round piece of metal my boyfriend gave me for my birthday. I'm not usually a girly-girl, but man, I just love it! It's so pretty!

You don't have to drop three months salary on it either, just a nice fake whatever or some cool one you can get in Kenso or on 17th. I had a friend a few years ago that gave me a barring from his skateboard that I wore for three years, it's all about the thought that counts - not that that was thoughtful, it fit perfectly and was kind of cool looking. If a ring seems like a pretty big deal, give her a bracelet, or a necklace - bring another girl to pick out something nice.

P.S. I too, need some good Christmas ideas for a 28 year old male... it's getting down to the wire... come on CP!!!! help!
where on 17th and appr how much is everything?

He has a dog... hmmmm... that's a pretty good idea though. I'm not sure if he wants another pet though, he's a workaholic... we're getting warmer... thanks for the idea!

Seriously, you can probably get her something pretty decent for under twenty bucks. Heck, try the Shopper's Drug Mart on 17th and 8th... I saw some pretty decent fake rings there a while back in the cosmetics department... or try that beads place around 9th... There's places like Purr that might have something. I dunno, I don't live there anymore... I remember there used to be a pretty decent jewelery guy on 8th Ave who sold his stuff... I don't know if he's there in the winter though. The university always has someone selling jewelery on campus... worse comes to worse, go to Le Chateau on 17th and buy some ring and put it in a nice box... whatever works.

May not be for everybody, but loose tea is awesome. I went down to Oolong Tea House in Kensington and bought my bass player a selection of teas for him and his wife.

Anyone recommend a good spa? Wife's been hinting that she'd like some spa time.

Oasis is probably the most popular one. There is also Stillwater Spa, which I've heard great things about.
