I saw a comedian at Yuk Yuks a couple weeks ago, his name is Brian Lazanik.
Very very similar style to Mitch Hedberg. So I you loved Mitch's comedy, you will really enjoy Brian's'.

I will see if i can find a video of his somewhere.

Nothing compared to Mitch, although some of his jokes did seem funny.
I think if he works on it a bit better, he'll be quite funny someday. IMHO he would just throw pauses into his skit (sometimes way to long) the pauses are alright, to an extent but it seemed to me that it was just a way to make his skit last longer.
Also similiar in the mono-tone. although I find Brian's voice a little too whiny.
I dunno, what do others think? I might be a Mitch homer...

He is much funnier in person.
That video doesn't really do him justice.

Like I said, I found a few of his jokes funny.
I believe he is probabley alot funnier in person, although I believe that everyone is. It is all about the atmosphere.

I agree, it's impossible to read anything written by Mitch Hedberg and not hear his voice in your head.

"My apartment is infested with koala bears. It's the cutest infestation ever! Way better than cockroaches. When I turn on the lights a bunch of koala bears scatter, and I'm like "aw come on, stay here, I want to hold you...and feed you a leaf"

"I'd like to see a forklift lift a crate of forks. It'd be so damn literal. "Hey, you're using that machine to its exact purpose!"
