Pam deserverd to go, she was an arrogant DICKtator making all the women feel like a bunch of no good losers (which they arguably are).
Stacy is an annoying mouse there, but she was absolutely right to tell Pam off, she had no right to talk down to the women the way she did, not after she lost the only challange for the guys. And what's wrong with Stacy doing her legal job? She didn't waste more time than Pam did when she wanted to learn how ice cream was made, did she?
Plus, she badly overpriced the product and never admitted to it or any other mistakes she had made. Not to mention that she never ackowledged that she lost the challange.
She was the female version of Bradford, their big egos got both fired.

That article makes little sense.
It was hard to see Pam go over $10? They lost the challange and someone had to go. Those are pretty clear rules, you lose a challange you lose a person.
Pam picked the wrong people for the wrong tasks and that led to trouble. She was calling all the shots, no woman had a say in the matter so you better win or you're out.
The only contribution she made was picking the price and that essentially killed them.
I don't see how this firing should be a surprize or a dissapointment, that girl was to rude and harsh to go far. Her track record as a PM was 0-2 too boot.

Yeah I was pretty disapointed they fired the best woman out of them all.
Carolyne, Jennifer M, Stacey and Anna make for a good night!

I don't know about you guys but I just gained a new respect for tiny woman everywhere. Stacy was completely right in ripping up her project manager. Whe was appointed to the legal side of the project and she had to stay firmly there. The enron shot got Trump thinking, you could see that she scored major points there.
We'll have to see how she does as a PM, but she's in the top spot on that team right now.
There's no chemistry on that team right now whatsoever, I'm assuming they're going to mix things up next week
Anna K. what can you way, she tolerated Raj and then made him look like a complete ######, considering he's taking a shot at one of the hottest woman in sports, I dig that, but dude, there's no chance that she's going to go for the goofy type.

I also thought Pam deserved to be turfed - it is not leadership to act condescending, superior and make your team feel belittled. She did a poor job, and to suggest she had ANY leadership skills is offbase, IMO. I've never in my life encountered a good leader that did not gain the respect of the people being led - not saying every good leader is liked, but at least respected.
One thing about the show that bothered me - the contest was judged on total sales rather than profits. What kind of businessman is Trump (or is that why the guy is continually going under and reinventing himself?)

All the people that were fired had no chance to win anyways. There are still alot of good potential winners left, and they are deserving to still be there. As long as someone deserving wins, then I have no problem with when he fires people along the way.

That is not the point though. It's based on your performance during that weeks task(at least the first season it was). It's so subjective that the very first day Trump already picked out his next apprentice.
He's lost track of the show, probably he's too busy with those phoney telephone deals they cut to each week. He's probably just talking to his wife on those calls.

Trumps argument was that she was a poor leader because she assigned the tasks to the wrong person. Pamela doesn't know any of the women! she was transferred over in at the beginning of the show. Besides clearly on the bus she asked everyone what their "*ucking" strong points are.

On the advice of CPers I watched that show and damn Anna Kournikova is hot. But I already knew that.
Anyway, why are they all so annoying? At least the annoying-est got canned last night. Who does she think she is, Rommel?
That lawyer was annoying as hell, but at least she was right. How tall is she anyway? The rest of those dames looked pretty normal, so that pegs her at about 4'6.

First bertuzzied, you need to relax pal.
My opinion is that she was a little too cocky and arrogant plus she picked the wrong people for this task. Would you not do an audition before assigning someone to go on national TV to sell stuff? Why did Maria end up on the stage and CONTINUED after she was told in a very unproffesional manner that she sucked?
Thus far every women PM said that they thought they did a good job. So you really want to ask them what THEY THINK their strong point are?

yeah you are right. I took it a little too personally. hehe. I guess seeing kournikova makes up for all of that. Too bad they couldn't have Sharapova on instead of McEnroe. He looked pretty annoyed when all the guys were giving anna all the attention.

first off I"m glad some of you agree with me now that Jen appears to be the only competent female, and that Caroline is going completely over board in her sucking up to Trump
as for Pamela, yes she was overbearing last night, but she brought that team closer to victory than they have been in weeks
that team is desperately in need of a merge
alot of the guys still look strong. I could see anyone but Andy (who I like, but is a bit too young) taking this thing
serious props to Raj last night for the whole Kournikova business. great TV that segment

If you thought the Pamela firing was odd/bad, watch tonights extended boardroom version. Everything makes a lot more sense now.

I didn't see the "extended boardroom" - what happened that we didn't already see?
