well, we all know your suggestions will never be sanctioned by the authorities. what i suggest realistically is that criminals like this be sent to a work camp in the arctic and spend their days outside, digging a hole. when the hole is dug out, they then fill the hole. when the hole is fill, they dig it again. rinse and repeat. every day. 18 hours a day. no days off.

rough cold conditions. no chance of escape. no rest. they will die a slow painful death, but no one has to resort to being a criminal themselves to inflict it.
