What did you get? I ordered my MBP and my iPod of Apple.ca, using free shipping both times. My iPod took 3 days to get here from the time i placed the order. My MBP took 9 days(a long 9 days).

Same thing happened with me. Shipping date was two weeks ahead. Must be a default setting.
Keep checking the apple site. Soon you'll be able to track it.
Mine arrived three days after I ordered it. Tracked it from China to Anchorage to Memphis to Calgary after Day Two.

I've got the same problem with streaming WMA or WMV. Flipformac doesn't fix it. Oh well...
Not a huge deal
I'm sure something will fix it soon.

Don't be suprised if it ships earlier.
However, MacBooks are in short supply and Apple is looking for a third supplier. Should have waited until next tuesday though just in case. Maybe they'll be nice and hold off shipping yours for the update IF there is one.
You'll be happy regardless.

Yeah sorry, even after my edit it made no sense. Because they say shipping by the 14th, I am thinking that they are in short supply OR they are waiting until after the 12th were they could potentially release an update. Maybe a new MacBook has been ramping up production explaining the short supply of current MacBooks. Along with the updated iMac today, they also updated the Mini as well. I can't see the MacBook going Core 2 yet.
My prediction is a speed bump for the MacBook and Core 2 duo for the MBP new iPod, and one more thing on the 12th.

Hmm, I'm really outside of any loop involved with apple.
All I saw on the news was a press conference scheduled for next week in france where its expected itunes will now have movies available...
The sooner the better, obviously, due to school. But I guess i'm not in a crazy rush to get it.. just hate waiting.

Reggie, still no luck getting windows media player working in crossover. I did get flipformac to work. I installed it and opened this url in firefox - http://38.99.208.186/fan960. I'm listening to the stream right now, not sure if this is what you're looking for.
