Some small hail up here in Royal Oak. Not nearly as bad as the last hail storm here.

Holy crap, did anyone see the picture of that hail damaged house in the sun today? Just demolished all the siding and windows.

Man, it's cold as hell out now. I don't know if it's my body still in Hawaii mode but it honestly feels like it could snow right now.

I'm not sure I've ever seen rain fall the way it's falling right now. For the past ten minutes it's been a steady downpour, but you can't hear it. Normally when I'm in my place with the balcony door open, when the rain starts you can hear it. I looked out and was surprised to see it.

It's funny you mentioned snow Jordan, because as I watched it I thought to myself that the way the rain is falling right now reminds me of the way soft snow flakes fall on a winter day. And yes, it is very chilly.

Springbrook just South West of Red Deer was annilated by the storm a couple of nights ago. Millions upon millions of damage. It was unbelievable to see houses completely stripped of siding, shingles, and windows. My wife and I had to hunker down in the basement for a hour or so under the threat of tornados. It was especially scary as my three kids were with their grandparents at the time. You really don't want to be seperated from your children at a time like that.

Business wise it has made a difficult situation for my company literally impossible now. (I'm in roofing.) We did not have the manpower to handle the work we have right now and I fielded approximately 150 calls on Friday relating to that storm. I expect many many more calls in the coming weeks.
