The Iggy WP was great! Excellent work - looks really professional!

Before he left for Boston, I would've asked for something featuring Dono but now, I wouldn't mind seeing something featuring Chuckles or Amonte...if you have the time.

One other suggestion would be to put together a WP with various players - like Iggy, Kipper, Regehr, Phaneuf & McCarty/Amonte/Chuckles...that'd be sweet too!

Hemi, you should have your sig picture made as a wallpaper. That'd be pretty sweet.

that'd be nice, but you'd need a lot larger source image for it to look anything but nasty. this is the full size version, a little too small for any desktop

You can't really see the detail just by looking at the thumbnail but it gives you a general idea. I have the wallpaper in many different sizes including widescreen.

Maybe that might be what you're looking for?

PS. Anthony Cook, I didn't want to steal your thunder with this post. I just figured that I'd put this out there since we were sharing wallpaper.

I hate to criticize something that I wouldnt have the slightest idea of how to do it, but if you are asking for critiques, I will just say I dont really dig the fact that the pics in the middle are small. Like Redman12 said above, there is a bit too much empty space for my liking. But having said that, it's my current wallpaper, thanks AC.

My art teacher would tell you that odd numbers are more pleasing to the eye. In this case, I would agree. One more Yelle is needed I think. They do look fantastic however, just something to keep in mind.

AC - I like the film grain style of your sig, that would be something else to try. You could also overlay the flaming C more as a watermark on your greay background and have the pictures split it.

As Hemi-Cuda said, a stamped look to the logo or an embossed look might be interesting.

Also I have a few pics I took of the dome, similar to the one Hemi has as his sig which I could offer up to use as a background.

Nice job on the wallpapers. Did you use Photoshop? If so, I'm wondering what tile/texture you used for the background.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but unfortunately, I don't have another usable Yelle photo! And 3 photos was too little.

Yep, Photoshop.

But no tile/texture, the background is about 30 or so layers of custom made brushes and whatnot.

Not crazy about the logo, but the widescreen size works. I think it would work better with the players in there as in the original.
a little old of a thread, but I needed to bump it just to say thanks! this is now my current wallpaper and I love it!
although i use 1280x800 the C just fits in there and looks awesome!
I've been looking for a C with a plain black brackground (I like simple, I only have the recycle bin on the desktop) for a while, but this is even better!

Solid work, i like the simplicity of it. Its not distracting with too much going on. One thing that might add to it is changing the font color to something a little brighter though. I dunno give it a try if you think it would work.

I'd like to throw in Darryl... just Darryl being Darryl... or maybe a pick with him in his highway tie and all the faces he makes

Wow, those are really well done. It's nice to have a few new wallpapers to enjoy. If it's not too much trouble could you possible make one up of Warrener, it would be greatly appreciated. And just out of curiosity, because I know absolutely nothing about making them, how long does it take to completely finish one?
