Im sure that may be true...however...
Jehovah's Witnesses are members of an international religion that claims to be the restoration of first-century Christianity.
JWs...if you have the time to read....

Its been really difficult because pretty much my whole family is religious so they beleive in heaven and hell and all that crap, and, as I said a while ago in another thread, my cousin did in fact die from a rare complication after the transplant surgery. So way to go Witness'! Good job!! Spread the word! Freaks.

They might be Mormons as well. I love to argue with them.

I live next to a family of Lebanese JW's and they're the worst neighbours ever. The kids look like something out of Children of the Corn and they have no respect for anyone's property. I've caught them throwing rocks at my backstep and putting toys in my dryer vent.
The father's a clueless cheapskate. He parks his rusting minivan on the road so it can leak oil there instead of his driveway. Well, he did until I called bylaw on him and it got ticketed.
His idea of sharing the cost of the fence between our houses was paying 20% of the cost while the fence is completely on my side of the property line. A fence that I put up to keep his demon brood and garbage off my property. I told him to keep his money but that it is my fence. I'm contemplating painting one side bright pink.
The wife's a stuckup bitch that doesn't seem to have anythiing going on upstairs.
They used to have their mothers living with them but I think they kicked them out so they could rent out the basement.

The j-hoes came to my place just the other week. I try to be polite and then he started going through articles in their little booklet there. I then asked him if JW's believe only 144,000 people from all time are going to be saved? He rambled on, but the answer was yes. I said that wasn't very good odds is it? he started mumbling then I said, well thanks for dropping by but I'll take my chances.

My very good friend is a Jehovah’s Witness, and so is his family, they are very kind people and I used to spend a lot of time over at there house, never once did they inflict there religious beliefs on me, and never once did they make ignorant comments about my beliefs
Now my friend admit himself there are aspects of the religion that aren’t so good, and there are people (like in any organization) that are bad eggs but I think a lot of people are painting JW’s with a single brush, now I think what happened to Frank is cousins daughter is awful, along with the ignorant comments made to Droopy wife but I just want to say they aren’t all bad I have met a lot through my friend and they have always been very good people, and very strong hockey fans I might add

Oh, I remember one story back one summer when I was still in school and living with my parents. I was rushing out the door for some reason and these JW's, dressed in wool outfits, stopped me on the front sidewalk and asked if my parents were home to talk about Jesus. Well they weren't but I decided to have a little fun since they ****ed me off by wasting my time. I told them to go ring the door and wait for them. So while they were doing that, I went to the side of the house and turned the sprinklers on. Sprinklers that were positioned so that they couldn't leave without getting wet.
For some strange reason they never came back.

At any age, if somebody says something about your mother, you'd want to kick them in the face. As a JW though, I'd have probably kicked him in the nads and called the cops on his trespassing cult ass.

Does the fact that "your friends" believe or follow a system that is...a cult...lets family members die because of their beliefs...5000 years behind the times...not bother you? The fact that they dont bother you with their beliefs might suggest they dont believe the JW philosophy much themselves. It is their responsibility to attempt to bring in as many people as possible. Maybe they are simply priming you for the proposal later?

No I don’t think that they are priming me for proposal later, and I will admit that they aren’t the strongest JW’s, and no there beliefs don’t bother me at all, if I start telling them that all there beliefs are wrong and that they are part of a cult how am I any different from the JW’s that force their beliefs on others?

They're free to believe what they want. Why start a needless arguement?
