Personally, I'm in the opposite boat. I'll buy seasons for the Dawgs every year, and not for the Vipers. The simple fact is, the Dawgs are a far, far more professionally run organization than the Vipers right now.

The problem isnt that the Vipers should have primary control over foothills, the problem is *how* they kicked the Dawgs out. Frankly, Peter Young tried to bankrupt the club. Rather than working with the established team for the betterment of baseball in Calgary, Young preferred to make life miserable for the Dawgs to the point that they would have no choice but to fold.

Now, this all being said, if you are a season ticket holder, then you are one of maybe 20 people who has been to more Vipers games than I have. I would very much like to see the Vipers succeed, simply becuase I want baseball to succeed. Frankly, however, it will not happen as long as an ******* like Young is associated with the team.

Unless things change significantly in the Vipers office, the Dawgs will have a much, much longer future in metro Calgary.

The Dawgs offered before the 05 season. Young refused. The Vipers flat out want nothing to do with the Dawgs, except to be the cause of their demise.

Cool! I live pretty close to Okotoks and look forward to attending some ball games in the future.
