Wichita State just layed an egg in the first half. They haven't shot that poorly all year. It didn't help that everything GMU put up early went in. I think the youth of the Shockers led them to panic a bit and keep going for threes when they really didn't need to. Great season though. Now I'm a Washington Huskies fan. That game in OT right now.

It would've been easier to take if the Flames hadn't lost during the ol' switchback between the two games. Not a good night for me.

2 of my 3 Final 4 teams were eliminated today, and I can't get any more wins in the pool. I am done.

Well, I still have Connecticut and Villanova in, but I think there are plenty of people ahead of me who do as well. I think I've been done for over a week!

Unless Villanova pulls off a pretty nice comeback late in this game not a single #1 is going to make the final 4. Wonder when the last time that happened?

At this point, I'm not convinced that George Mason can't win this whole thing. Unreal.

I imagine George Mason is ****ing Vegas off something fierce, though that will probably change when everyone starts betting on them to win because they love the underdog...

Whoa, I wonder if anyone dropped money on who would make this Final 4?
Per the ESPN pool:
Quote:
More than 1.5 million people participated and of the more than 3 million entries submitted only four -- that's right, four -- picked a Final Four including Florida, George Mason, LSU and UCLA before the tournament started.
Some more interesting stats here

Not positive, but it seems like that is before the tournament was 64 teams large.

I'm not sure whether to be happy because it took GMU a last second NBA 3 pointer to beat WSU in February and that they played like crap and lost to GMU by 8 in the sweet 16 or to cry because it's quite possible Wichita State could have done the same thing.
