I don't know. This is the Flames when every one is locked in for a full 60.
Not exactly a regular occurence. And they need to bear down like this just to have a shot at winning. They can't get away with a partial effort like more talented teams.
If they let off the gas, they usually get run out of the rink if it's a middle of the pack team or better.
They might not land top odds, but they'll be in the McKenna zone.

...like who?
The Sharks? Maybe, but they're young and will get better as the year goes.
The Rangers? Maybe, but they were awful tonight.
Who else?

Yeah, from one cluster !@#$ to another...they looked like hot garbage. Panarin was moving well, but his execution was off. I don't know what Drury is doing.

San Jose won tonight, so the Flames are still 32nd overall. Team Tank still wins.

A rare night when both pro-win and pro-tank crowds can be satisfied!

Happy for The Flames wish that Honzek shot had not hit the post. 1st goal will come eventually.

The next 15 games are as easy as the first 9 were brutal. I predict 9-3-3 in the next 15 games which would put them over .500

I'd pump the brakes. Just as the Flames proved tonight to the Rangers, there are no 'easy' nights in this league.
Rags probably came into this game looking down their noses at the Flames and were thoroughly throttled.
