Zarubin again.

His name roughly translates to Grand Theft Puck.
Probably

Clicked on the wrong button... voted Solyovov instead of Sergeev.

I think they have the same floor but Kuznetsov has a higher ceiling.

Kuznetsov is a lot like Bahl. Both selected in the second round (50OA in 2020 vs 55OA in 2018) and they are both big D who are strong defensively.

Also, for all of the +/- lovers who have been down on Andersson, you can take away the fact that Kuznetsov was +21 on the Wranglers when the next best guys were at +8 (Hunt and Solovyov). That definitely implies something good is going on when Kuznetsov is on the ice, right?

I did a pivot and moved from Soloyov/Kuznetsov and went with King (100% due to Tacoman's summary post). However, when looking at the two defensemen a bit closer, I found Soloyov is actually on a one way deal this year. I knew Kuznetsov's new contract had him going to one way next year, but didn't realize Soloyov's already had.

Both are waiver eligible.

That information is just information. At their salaries and Calgary's cap space, it means nothing.

Will be voting the rest of the way heavily prioritizing ceiling. Its not that I dont value guys that are tweeners but they are replaceable, an example of this would be a guy we signed like Kirkland.

Sergeev I'll grant is different as he came over and lit up the USHL and Penn

Chechelev's stock mirrored that of Bre-X (ignoring the fraud aspect!). Post draft, shot up fast with what was appearing like a sure thing. The very next season, just fell and has never rebounded.

Sergeev has shown improvement year over year, which is why I am taking him ahead of Zarubin, but Zarubin is probably next for me in voting.

Issue I see is if they don’t manage to dump Andersson before the start of the season it’s going to screw one of Solovyov/Kuznetsov

I mean I guess...depending on what you consider "screwing" to be.
And on my list of things to worry about, that's way down there.
