First off it's hard to fault Huska given his team is in a playoff spot in March.

Nobody saw that coming (very few).

Defensively there is little debate given the roster construction (coming into the season with only 2 top four defensemen).

Offensively the team is last place in goals per game in a 32 team league, so yeah I think there is likely something in the sacrifice to get into the top half defensively that is hurting this team offensively. He needs some blame.

They don't have a lot of offensively dynamic players though, can't ignore that.

Comes down to the trade off. If he tweaked the system to open up and the Flames scored say 1/3 goal more per game moving the team offensively from 32nd to 20th ... what happens in their own zone, and does that change result in greater than 1/3 goal per game against.

Guessing he thinks yes.

this line intrigues me: Sharangovich - Frost - Pospisil

pass first puck carrier, finisher, crash and bang winger...hopefully they are given some time to gel

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict Kuzmenko 3, Flames 0.

I like farabee on backlund line. With backs not being able to shoot it’s pretty much a defensive line . Not in love with Zary on 4th line.

That would really suck, but I’m not gonna take that bet.

If they plan on making the playoffs. Or at least it’s their goal.

Might be a good idea to win this game.
