Don't know what his history was, but minimum 5 games. I could see it being 10. Late, blind side, head, and damn dangerous.

5-10 games, but it's the NHL so he'll probably get a game or a fine. Prove me wrong and surprise me, NHL.

absolute garbage play and exactly the type of hit they need to get out of the game. Throw the book at him.

Well if Raz got 4 with no history I guess Gallagher gets 4 with no history. I thought for sure he had been suspended before.

Gallagher ISNT a repeat offender? That's shocking....but he gets 10 if anyone but George was running DOPS ....they need to add add an E in there somewhere....
DEPARTMENT OF PLAYERS EGREGIOUS STUPIDITY.
IF this was playoffs that wouldn't be a question or maybe it would? But players running eachother like this in 2024 in a regular season game ...
Come on!!!

I’d give him at least seven but I think he gets two games.

He should get 10 games but that opinion just sets up a fan for disappointment. I expect he gets 5 because for some strange reason the NHL seems to think that if a player commits an extremely dangerous and predatory hit for the first time that somehow it's not nearly as bad as a player with a previous transgression committing the same infraction.

I am anti-fighting in Hockey, but for that I’d make an exception.
Hard to believe nobody came and rag dolled him.
That is not a hockey play gone wrong, that is a piece of #### taking advantage of someone and trying to injure them.
Should be 10 games, I’m predicting 3-4 games.

The act is the same seriousness if a first time offender or a repeat offender do it, however repeat offenders should do more time because they are obviously need to be taught a lesson. I don't have an issue with that. I have an issue with inconsistency of handing out suspensions. Somebody gets two games for something where someone else gets a fine and someone else doesn't even get a hearing and sometimes the repeat offender is the one who gets the fine.

Laughable to think Rasmus got 4 games and Rat Gallagher is getting no more than 5 for this.

Nasty hit. One of the worst I have seen recently. So $5000 fine?

BuT We CaRe aBoUt PlAyEr SaFeTy ...
it's a joke. If the most blatant and nasty headshot in a while isn't worth more than 5, might as well stop the charade. Parros is clearly not doing his job.

I would have given him 8 games as he hasn’t been suspended before. That was nasty. I think he will get 4-5.

Should have been more if they seriously want stuff like that out of the game, but sadly it's more than I thought he'd get, so guess there's that.
