Schwindt will become the 8th different Rookie we have put into the lineup this year.
If Pelletier can play a game this year, he is still a rookie too.

I'm not saying it's a good lineup since I don't think this team is very good, but I do like the way the lines are put together for tonight. I'm actually interested to watch the 4th line play and see how they do.

Taking a while to get to 5000
I don't expect much of anything, which is good. A quiet night where they aren't hemmed in and stay above water is all I ask.

A slam dunk win for the better team. The better team lost to Chicago a couple weeks ago.

Excited for Cole. I really hope he seizes the opportunity.
Very pleased with how Conroy has kept his word so far.
Nice to see this harmony between GM and coaches too.
Regardless what the standings show, it feels like Flames are on the right track. Once all the UFAs are dealt with I think the team will do better than we except.

Ruzicka may just not be cut out for the 4th line centre role. It remains to be seen whether he gets another shot up the lineup down the centre or the wing. Maybe he slots into Pospisil's vacant spot if they figure Coronato isn't a (current) fit on that line. They may be keeping Ruzicka around until they know what the returns from the trades will be and whether they include an NHL centre coming back.

I wonder how far away Rooney and Pelts are.

Having Kylington and Pelletier coming back soon is like getting 2 exciting new players at the trade deadline.. That plus picks, should be a lot of fun
