Definitely offside, too bad because that was a great play by Daccord. Oilers catch another break. Kraken 3 games in four nights with travel .. playing the coddled oilers at home after a day off.

Looks like the clowns extend their streak. That’s ok. The 7 game losing streak to follow will be nice.
I see gourde got a 5 min major for charging? How does one get 5 min for charging? I hope it was at least going after Kane, McHobo or Pissy.

Oilers celebrated Pride Night tonight. I thought the league banned stuff like this. Will the oilers be penalized?

Pride Jerseys (or any special night jersey) used in warmups or pre-game were banned. Pride Nights are still happening, like ours vs the Sens a week ago.

The darkest timeline continues, along with the Oilers' baby-soft schedule. They don't play a legit contender until Feb. 6th vs. Vegas. And after they play the Flames on Saturday, they have two full days off before their home game against the Jackets.

The Predators and Canucks both win their respective games 2-1 in regulation time. Both teams score yheir first goal on the power play and then the winning goal in the second period. What kind of implosion are the Kings going through?

Vegas without Eichel, Flames will have to knock them off

Just saw the gourde penalty. Off the face-off, Mcp***y gives gourde a shot in the back of the neck/head, gourde goes down. McP looks at the refs, no penalty. What a tough guy move. He and gourde chirp up the ice, looks like gourde wants to drop the gloves, McP wants no part of it. So gourde runs Ekholm with a cheap higher hit into the glass. Ekholm clutches his face, then is fine and goes after gourde. Before he can do that McP***y has grabbed gourde and there is a scrum. Gourde 5 minutes. Ok. McP gets nothing. The unwashed one is such a dirty little coward.

McP the first guy to go after gourde, after a cheap shot and not answering, but no penalty for him. Just roughing on Ekholm.
Love that gourde went after McP though. That’s what you need to do. Teams are going to get wise to his weaselly plays.

Funny thing is I still don't fear the Oilers at all...they are beating bottom feeders in tight games. This "record" exists because of recent rules. This wouldn't have been a streak back in the day before 3 on 3 and shootouts. They are being compared with teams of yesteryear that actually had to win games the old fashioned way or get a tie

The Leafs are the only decent team they've played lately, and they only won that game because Toronto s*** the bed and blew a 2 goal lead.
Seattle did the same thing last night, and they also got some help from the refs with 2 McPP goals. This current streak is all smoke and mirrors. Oilers may look unbeatable when playing against bottom feeders and teams that are outside the playoff picture, but they wouldn't last long in a 7 game series against any of the top teams in the west. Hell, the Leafs would probably beat them in 6 or less.
