Thought Markstrom looked fantastic!
I hate that we started the season so poorly, because now I can't help but feel a little disappointed when we win. Even if we continue playing this way, it's going to be very difficult to actually make the playoffs, and almost guarantees picking 12-18.

He probably deserves it. Either him or Kadri.

I said it earlier this season, but I like the way the team is playing. They look like they're playing a system, unlike last year where they looked lost at times. We don't always win, but win or lose, we usually are in it. There are still things to iron out, like our PP, but I now have faith in Huska.

The Wild have one of the best looking third jerseys with their White, Green and Gold kit. They also have an Oiler like fugly regular uniform kit that they usually torture us into watching. For that reason, I love beating them, and wish the Flames would subject them to watching their team lose low scoring games at home every single time.

If they draft in front of the Flames, hopefully they draft another Benoit Poulliot, and leave the Kopitar for the Flames. Hopefully that Poulliot also signs a 5 year deal with the Oilers one day that they buyout after 2 years realizing they too made a terrible mistake.

Huberdeau only 3 goals fewer than Ovechkin in January.

It always makes me smile after wins when I think about the posters who are cheering for losses. Markstrom was a beast tonight and a confident play by Huberdeau on his goal.

And now the moment you've all been dreading:
Debbie Downer explains Why the Flames Lost Tonight

1. Markstrom gave up a goal on the first shot of the game, because that's what he always does. The shots before that don't count. The Wild were just practising. It is known.

2. Huberdeau did not score a goal, because he is a useless bum and will never score again. It is known.

3. Mangiapane didn't score either, because he's just an overpaid 4th-liner who falls down whenever he gets near the puck. It is known.

4. The empty-net goal by Coleman obviously didn't happen, because Minnesota was up 1-0 at that point, and who the hell pulls their goalie when they're ahead?

5. It was Tuesday night in Minnesota. There are no winners on a Tuesday night in Minnesota. Ever.

In spite of this, the league insisted on giving the Flames two points in the standings, just to #### with their draft position. It's a plot, I tells ya! A plot!

The Captain is so good in so many ways, he proves it over and over again. Mangi looks like he's finally getting back to himself after his shoulder surgery. Nice to see, really nice, I was losing hope for him. Hubi, he had fun tonight and lets hope that continues. Tanifin is a horrible, horrible nickname that popped into my brain tonight. Horrible, kinda funny, but horrible.
