Martin will hopefully bring his pee and vinegar and I hope some of that pee gets onto the right people on this pathetic butter soft team.
I'd rather see a group of peed off guys trying to bust some heads and lose than the guys were seeing flowing hockey cliches out their asses after every loss.
We're playing for each other, no individuals, we're a team, we give each other man love in the room ....wooF!!!
Judas Priest ....Let's go!!!

Good for Pospisil. He's a PPG player through 6 games so far with the Wranglers.
Also, he seems to play with a bit of a psycho edge, which may be what the team needs to give it a jolt.
Matty will be back. I hope he lights up the baby Sharks (doo-doo doo-doo doo-doo) this weekend.

I think Huska as a new coach is too trigger happy when it comes to mixing lines. He needs to let the players figure this out a little more. Coronato should be with Backlund. Huby 17+ mins a game with Lindholm. Leave it like that for a few games.
Reminds me of baseball. Kid batting 3rd in the order strikes out. Next game lineup has the coach dropping him to 5th in order. Confidence starts to wane. Strikes out again. Then drops him to 8th in the order. Now it's a mess. These aren't kids, but the mind games this stuff plays is real.

This will make Coronato even hungrier after getting a nice long taste. Will be awesome if Pospisil can also make sending him back down hard for the Flames for as long as possible!

I wonder if they'll have Coronato play C while he's down - good way to make the transition, and let him get lots of time in.

Support this move. Coronato can help the Wranglers offensively. Build some confidence. Flames aren't an ideal group for a player breaking into the pros at the moment.

Just hope Pospisil doesn't try to fight. Just be the best agitator he can be and hit everything in sight, including lazy bums in the Flaming C for good measure.

Happy for Pospisil as injuries have dogged him throughout his career. I hope that is all behind him now.
Over/under on PIMs in his first game?

The NHL is hard and obviously there’s quite an uptick in level of competition form that first 10-0 pre season game.
I’m sure the club had a good talk with him so he doesn’t let this discourage him. Go down there and score some goals, and work on his 200 foot game.

I'm surprised that Pospisil get's the call up because I never saw him as an NHLer in today's game. He is an energy guy though and after seeing Zary's energy help lift the team I think it's good to bring up Pospisil too. He won't get much ice time as he's nothing more than a 4th line player.
Exciting to see what his energy can do for this lineup!
Sad to see that Coronato was struggling but it wasn't unexpected. They gave him time in the NHL and now he can go to the AHL and adapt to the pace and schedule in preparation for his next call-up. He'll be a good NHLer.

At least they are taking advantage of the Wranglers being in Calgary

This will help Matt in his development. He needs to play top line minutes.

The Wranglers play at the Saddledome at 1:00 today. I wonder if Coronato will play?

Selfishly as a fan who just wants to watch the young guys, this sucks. But I think it’s probably the right call.

The option to be creative like this and really take advantage of waiver exempt two-way contracts is why we have the Wrangers here in the city. Might as well us that advantage.

TBF they have replaced him with a different young guy in Pospisil and it also facilitates giving Zary an extended look

I’m stoked for Pospisil and hope he sticks in a Garnet Hathaway type role.

Give him a cup of coffee and show what is needed to play in the NHL. It will be to his benefit. Kid has a lot of skill and a top notch NHL shot. Just needs to work on defense and positioning/play away from the puck. It will come and he will be back up sooner rather than later.
I wasn't overly happy with him bouncing around the lineup, never got settled but I still think this was the right move.
