That was a fun OT and bad shootout from all 3 shooters. Although Huberdeaus chance was close. Two inches back to the left and it's in through the wickets.

Take the positive, down 2-0 against one of the hottest teams down the stretch and come back to get a point. I hate shootouts, stupid gimmick. Still very much alive with our schedule compared to Jets. Win last 2, Jets will F it up.

Need to win out and need Winnipeg to get 2 points or less in their 3 games.

Not looking likely. Good spirit to battle back tonight. Again frustrating that the team took their foot off the gas the second they tied it up. Add another one to the OTL column.

Probably so he can rub their noses in it after.

It was the same move he tried last time except last time he waited and tried to elevate. It actually might have worked this time because Demko was down.

They can also loose 2/3 and the flames are in with 2 wins

They are not the same thing though because a win against the Sharks and a OT loss against the Wild get it done for the Jets. With a win that would not get it done for the Jets. That is what makes it different.

That being said, the Flames lost it by going 0-2-1 against the Hawks.

Flames win 2 and Jets lose 2 and they're in. Not likely given how amazing the Jets looked tonight. But still a chance. Weird season just won't die.

Nice for Kadri to get a goal when he had given up on a play and the puck found his stick lol.

My thought exactly. One final FU to Treliving?

Meh. Whole thing meh. Meh season, meh coaching, meh talent.

Can't score in the OT or the shootout. Can't get by the nucks. Or the hawks....

Honestly more excited for offseason and some new bodies at this point than seeing whether this hugely mediocre group can scratch into the playoffs.

Not sure if that changed anything. Jets still need to lose 2 and we still need to win out.

Kadri shooting wide on a 3 and 1 that would have won the game is kind of fitting. Also fitting he scores a goal by virtue of being last one to clear the zone.

Pretty much. It's two Jets losses still. Really no different.

I guess. But I’m of the mindest that the Flames need to win out regardless of what the Jets do. Get the 2 W’s and hope. That’s all we can do.
