MacKinnon’s regular season wasn’t that dominant so not surprised he’s not in top 3. It’s not like the players are voting to assemble a team or anything.

This is a regular season award and McDavid and Matthews had incredible seasons. The players can see that just like everyone else.

Wut?

Jaded is all of the people who constantly downplay McDavid and his otherworldly regular season.

The skill level of McKinnon in the eyes of CP posters has increased quite a bit in the playoffs, which is of course not relevant to this vote. It would have been interesting to see how we would have voted prior to the playoffs.

I disagree. I think society in general needs less social media. I’m glad Crosby is doing his part in not joining Twitter.

Twitter is a dumpster fire that we’ve let spread to the surrounding buildings and for some reason we’ve thrown fuel on the fire instead of putting it out.

Don’t get me wrong, Twitter has its place, but it’s become far too ingrained in our culture. I don’t think it’s an accurate representation of reality but it’s being treated as such. It’s amazing what a few angry people on Twitter can accomplish.
