I feel like he got the long term money he is worth but on a bridge deal. He likely wants 6-7M at least on a long term deal and that would be an overpay. Usually when you sign a bridge deal it is significantly less than the price of a long term deal.

I think Ullmark is viewed similarly to Rittich...decent numbers, but hard to project if he'll put it all together.

The Markstrom path would be the hope...Big Swedes who both had ~20 game season around age 23, then a couple seasons with limited NHL time before becoming more 'full-time' around age 26.
