I hoped to see him fight in a flames uniform, never happened, I was sad.

I was also sad Prout never fought for the Flames too.

Stewart had all kinds of potential, but even at his peak he was still a very raw player. The Avs got into the habit of rushing players to the NHL and Stewart was one of a number of players in that system that made a splash in their first or second year and then immediately regressed. Don't underestimate how important player development is to the longevity of a career.
