Then they'll just smoke in the washrooms (like they do since the Saddledome stopped allowing people to re-enter during events), which is much worse.

Exactly, people will be smoking joints, cigarettes, or vaping where ever they please if there isn't a space for them. Just 'banning' smoking does nothing.

I was referring to outside of the arena, and around the common spaces they plan to create.
