The Flames have a history of keeping PTOs for the duration of camp. I wouldn't read into them staying too closely.

I actually disagree - I am glad that Zagidulin got sent down. Rittich and Talbot need the net to work on their games for now. With Talbot's confidence level, he probably needs to know that the Flames have confidence in him, and hopefully this will get him the needed reps in practice (and games probably) to try and get him back to his starter level.
Zagidulin will hopefully get a lot more reps in Stockton, and continues to show well while still adjusting to North American ice. Probably the best thing all around for these 3 goalies. They all need the practices and starts as none can be considered an 'established starter' - at least not yet.

The Flames need to make 5 cuts to be roster compliant. If I had to guess it would be Rieder, Smith-Pelly, Rinaldo, MacDonald and Davidson.

You think they'll run with 3 goalies?
IMO it'll be Gillies, Davidson, DSP, Quine, and Rinaldo (signed to two-way deal and assigned)
Rieder and Amac make the team

I forgot about Gillies. I still think that they cut them all, and have a 22 man roster to remain cap compliant after Tkachuk signs. Maybe they will offer a 2-way deal to Rinaldo or Rieder and place them directly in Stockton.
