I can only hope that his "last fight" against Mason Dixon gives the same result as the Dragoo v Appallo fight, Rocky Dies and the final scene is Rocky vs Appallo 3 in heaven. Leading to either the end of the Rocky franchise, or better yet Rocky Vll where rocky fights God to find out the best boxer in eternity. *crosses fingers*

I'll probably pay to see it. I always liked the Rocky movies. Sure none of them have been as good as the first, but Rocky has always been such a loveable underdog, that you can't help but cheer for him

If the director really wanted to make a terrific Rocky VI- he'd have Rocky get his ass handed to him in the final fight. You know? Do a huge build up about how he's coming back, show a montage of him training. Have some useless scene filler crap with his wife begging him not to- but then he's too brave and stubborn to stop.

Then switch to final fight scene. And BAM. Have him just get drilled like 8-9 times straight in the face- drop to the ground and be knocked out in round 1.
Then cut to credits.

That would be unreal. I'd buy a movie like that for sure!

Its all about creativity. Plus like... old man strength only gets you so far...

Sadly, I'd rather watch George Foreman, Larry Holmes or Evander Holyfield fight at their advanced ages than anyone in the HW division right now. Man has heavyweight boxing fallen from the upper eschelon of sporting events.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like there is no Adrian in this one, I guess that she either has died or is sick of Rocky retiring only to return to boxing for one more match.... Anyone know the storyline there?
