Parenting is SO AWESOME! My son is 19 months old. He was a cow for Halloween because he can say "MOOOO". He went trick or treating for the 1st time this year. He doesn't eat candy.... but his dad sure as #### does!
But really lil dude was awesome. He liked the doorbell ringing and handing out candy more than anything. We only had about 10 visitors but we are in an isolated neighborhood in Conrich.

My wife thinks it's funny that when kids say 'Thank You', I say 'Thank You' back to them. That's what happens after 25 years in retail! I don't want the kids to give my house a bad Google review!

I’m in Copperwood and only 31 so far. Had 43 last year. Not sure why number is down as there’s more kids in the neighborhood this year. And I give out good candy.

I also had what looked like a grown man dressed in a Michael Myers costume trick or treat at my door. He didn't say a word just held his bucket out for candy... maybe time to lock the door and shut things down...

33 in Varsity Village. A bit slower than last year.
Best of the night were our first trick or treaters. 2 in early teens wearing suits and “Scream” masks.
“Happy Halloween. Great costumes. What is your costume?”
“We’re from the Purge. If we come back after 7... don’t answer the door “
They each got a handful.

36 in Douglasdale - seems slower than last year and it's mostly just the old kids now. Luckily we adjusted early and started handing out more to each kid so we won't have crazy leftovers.

Just about 50 in Symon's Gate. Up about 10 from last year. It was nice to see some effort in the costumes finally, not just a plastic iron Man mask and gloves. Kids seemed to have made their costumes. Makes me happy.

I don't know how you guys keep count, I open the door and it's a flurry of action dropping candy in bags. I barely get a look at the costumes and the horde is off.
I usually am very indifferent to kids, usually they're loud and annoying but the little one on Halloween are very friendly and cute.

Finished at 53, since our street is deserted now. A lot of fun after living in an apartment building with no kids the last couple years.

No-one for 20 minutes now, so I think it's over. Got 98, so down 10 from last year. Almost no teen-agers and mostly really young kids.

Edit: Checked last year's thread, i reported 193 so we are up by 30 or so.
