On the 7th goal against Connor misses the net and then does a slow pouty glide back on defense and the goalscorer basically goes in untouched.

When the Oilers were at a point where making the playoffs would take a miracle, McDavid was something like 20th in scoring.
3 points, and got a plus on 2 of them, so he was on the ice for 4 goals against.
Of course, after the game, the broadcasters are singing his praises. The Oilers were blown out in their own building, there shouldn’t be any praise given to the Oilers. Columbus scored 7 unanswered goals.

The Devils honestly are pissing me right off. Really want the Panthers to get in, and the Devils keep winning games they should lose to hold them off. Just super irritating. They're trailing halfway through the third and they win. What a bunch of jerks.

Flames had already blown it but 3 leading scorers missing? What playoff team is in that situation?
His point is valid, Flames paying for a rental would not have helped enough

Not so sure.
When you are a bubble team and standing pat , the message is that maybe you are in contention and what you have is what you are going with.
If you add, you are declaring that you are going for it , investing in the team etc.
If you stand pat and guys get injured, I can see how the team feels worse off whereas if they added, it is a hurdle, but against a positive position

Can’t be sure. The reason these guys and Versteeg are missing is related to team situation. In the race, maybe all still dress (once Tkachuk is back)
Tkachuk is out but not certain for how long (not necessarily full year as he is skating and may be back), Gaudreau has short term personal reasons, and Monahan was shut down because he was playing through injuries and they finally threw in the towel.
Adding Chris Stewart is not a message that tells the team to keep playing.

St. Louis has played great after sending the message this maybe isnt our year and trading Stastny. I wish the flames would have moved Stone, Frolik, etc.. if there was a mkt for them.
