Do we need both Lomberg and Hrivik up just to sit however?
I know it is standard to have 3 healthy scratches and practicing with NHLers might help a guy like Lomberg but part of me wonders if it wouldn't be better to send Lomberg down as well.
The team has no desire to scratch Brouwer or Stajan while Lazar and Hathaway are ahead on the depth charts. It's not really a big deal as Lomberg and Hrivik have limited NHL upside but Lomberg was playing great on the farm before his recall and the center ice is rather bare where Hrivik could help..
Oh well, at least the kid with the most upside will now be on the farm playing key minutes.
