Really looking forward to this game. Sharks are always my favorite opponent to watch the Flames play. Both teams always seem to bring their best, play fast, play physical and lots of action.
Hopefully the Flames can get on a bit of a roll here to start the holiday season, as I have a sweet Shark PGT win gif I've been saving for this occasion.

They allowed EDM to come in and score a touchdown in their own rink and were horse#### from start to finish. They had an immediate chance to redeem themselves against the Flyers and came out just as sleepy.
This team has no fight. They are going through the motions of an 82 game season. This isn't an office where you just hand out assignments and deadlines and expect the tasks to be completed. A coach needs to lead and inspire a group, along with the Captain. That's sports. And that's whats missing from this club. Emotion...
Yes. No emotion at all. Look at that sorry bunch of robots...
SN960 reporting that Aaron Dell gets the start for SJ tonight. He has four wins in his last five games, including three straight in which he has registered a shutout v. Ottawa and a 0.977 SP. He split two starts against the Flames last season: A 3-2 loss in Calgary on 11 January, and a 3-1 win in SJ in the last game of the season on 8 April.

Hopefully Ferkland can wake the ferk out of the team and score more than two ferkin' goals, make some ferktacular hits and perhaps give Smith a few goals padding so the Sharks ferk off early and go home.
He is the guy that can wake up the team, just like the Vancouver series.
Pretty important 4 point game in the standings. Hope they continue their tight defensive play while getting the top line and pp starting to contribute.
Sounds like he's close to coming back. Most likely Saturday.
It's too bad there isn't some sort of intermittent IR for guys with recurring problems that need attention for an amount of time which, over the season is the same as a guy out for an extended time sufficient to be on IR. Then the Flames could get a little cap relief.
it's not just free Timmies tonight at the 'Dome - Our Hero and his pyromaniac sidekick plan to serve up some well-done portions of grilled shark. Don't forget to kiss the cook:

Bought tickets so my wife could see her favourite player, and of course Dell gets the start instead.
Let's hope for 4 first period goals, chase Dell, so then we can both be happy
