Who says the extras are getting into those games?
Anyway, aside from PTOs and Pribyl the only guys left are ones who have a legit shot at the roster.

...that's what you have now. We're nursing a few "injuries" with Tkachuk and Monahan, so it's unlikely they both play the remaining games, so that's why you have 17 forwards (2 PTOs + AHL Goon), alongside Jankowski pushing Stajan and Hamilton further down the depth chart into 13th and 14th forward spots.
Kulak/Andersson/Bartkowski are playing for the #6 and #7 D-man.
Gillies has shown better than Lack, so it's not impossible to think that he could steal the job.
What would you propose be done different? Cut every player after 1 game where they failed to steal the show? 1 bad period of hockey?

I need to chime in to say that I am pleased to see Andersson get a long look. He will be a full time NHLer next year.

I'd say it's likely down to Cramarossa, Glass, and Gazdic for one of the forward spots (with Glass in the lead right now); and between Jankowski, Hathaway, and Hamilton for the other two open spots (Hathaway is the likely odd-man-out there).

I'm guessing we are keeping one of Glass/Gazdic/Cramarossa

I don't disagree, but there really isn't too much extra weight left.
The way i look at it, there are perhaps 4 roster Spots still up for grabs:
3rd Line Winger - Brouwer/Lazar/
4th Line Winger & 13th Forward - Brouwer/Lazar/Hathaway/Glass/Cramarosa/Gazdic
6th and 7th dman - Bartowkski/Kulak/Anderson
Backup Goalie - Lack/Gillies
fairly certain the last 2 games will see a good amount for the line combinations that are likely locked in get time to play, as well rotating the remaining question marks out. I think they have a few guys too many at forward still, but i think that might just be keeping the PTOs longer than is ultimately necessary.

Okay, it's official. We totally need to sign Jaromir Jagr. These remaining extra wingers are pretty uninspiring.

Cramarossa has been pretty crap so far. Glass has been way better.

I agree. I am betting that one of Cramarossa, Glass or Gazdic will be on the opening night roster in Edmonton, and then dispatched to Stockton shortly thereafter.

Gazdic still with the club is disappointing.
Next game for Andersson is big.

The right moves so far imo
P.s: Anyone have a good site to see the players placed on waivers?

Any chance Gillies is still here because Lack has been awful?

Crazy idea...... Can we ditch all our PTOs, and just pick up Nolan on waivers instead?

I think Andersson has outplayed Kulak.

Need to....
Cut 3:
21 Garnet Hathaway
25 Freddie Hamilton
17 Luke Gazdic
51 Tanner Glass PTO
64 Joseph Cramarossa PTO
Cut 1:
61 Brett Kulak
54 Rasmus Andersson
44 Matt Bartkowksi
Cut 1:
32 Jon Gillies
31 Eddie Lack
Glass has impressed, but at his age, I would be upset if he got the spot over Hamilton or Hathaway. I think it's pretty clear that Gazdic & Omarossa will be cut.
Does Gillies get another game? I'm surprised he's still around.

Andersson has definitely been the best of the 3 hopefuls. I'm still doubtful they choose to play 2 righties on the 3rd pairing, but that would be my wish at this point.
