Not a fan of the overall game.

Have to be some push back against the cheap shots on our top player(s). I don't care if Ferland and Bouma are getting charging penalties or roughing penalties. Scum like Kesler, Bieksa and Perry need to back the f*** off. Why would they do that when they get no penalties and no one touches them? I would like to Hathaway put back in. He always seemed to have more jump than either of Bouma or Hamilton. And those guys need to realize that their jobs are not safe.

I don't get constantly sending out the 3rd D pairing to anchor the top line. Those guys played decent, but I can't count how many times they threw the puck to the point and I thought "Bartkowski? Why?"

Anaheim is our kryptonite.

Won't get anywhere if we can't figure out how to beat them.

I'm not mad we lost, it happens, but that was the epitome of terrible goon late season or playoffs whistles away hockey. Just brutal stick work and cheap cross checks all night long.
I posted the PGT before the actual three stars were shown, I think mine were better

People will be quick to jump on Bartkowski, but he was not the problem tonight. It was clear to see by the second period that our forwards weren't committed to defense today, and that cost us the game.

Johnny Gaudreau specifically with a horrid night that cost us two goals. No awareness, no effort on defense. That's absolute bull**** as we head into the playoffs. Any contender will dispose of this team in four or five games in the first round if that's how we're playing.

As someone said in the gamethread, our stars can't half ass it, especially this time of year, you will not win games that way.

Not Bart's fault at all. He had a good game. Defensive system breakdowns led to at least two goals against.

Need to lock it down.
It is apparent that the Flames need to play almost mistake-free to beat a team like the Ducks. They can do it but its hard.

Did not contribute positively tonight.

He doesn't have to carry the offensive load every game. Just focus on not being a liability at the very least.

3rd pairing let them down on the defensive side. Time to get Rasmus in there and see what he can do before playoffs.

Not the end of the world. If they can strike back in Anaheim that will feel like 10 wins. Learn from tonight and break the "curse"!

Really sucks they blew this one with the Tuesday game being an automatic loss. Now they need help from Nashville to avoid the Hawks in the first round

Not a fan of the way they Flames kept dumping the puck in that game. Ducks are a very good grinding team, seemed to play into their hands.

My hate for the Oil is way more than the Ducks, but if that's how we play Anaheim when they played the night before? Not too comfortable playing them in the playoffs. I get the feeling though after the next game it won't matter. I see Chicago as our first round challenge.

We need to move some players out and some in.

Hathaway needs a callup, maybe even Lomberg.....need energy, tenacity to match the ducks.

GET Raz into the game in place of Bart.....when he makes mistakes I feel bad for this guy because we paid the price and Bart needs to sit when he's a liability

Bartowksi is awful. We're likely a wildcard team anyways. Let's get Rasmus in there to see if he's any better. Bart has been awful for a while now.

The third goal when he had a week to move the puck up the ice and then he just hammers is around the glass only to see it land on a Duck stick inside the blue line had me pulling my hair.

No idea how anyone is putting that goal all on Bart. He checked the puck away from the puck carrier and forced a desperate shot from a bad angle, Engelland failed to cover the guy out front, Johnny gave a lazy backtrack and Elliott gave up at brutal rebound.

Bart was the only guy on the play to make a good effort and play decent defence.

If Kesler played every game against the Flames he'd shatter Gretzky's records.

Johnny is just as much to blame as Bart on that one.
