Funny, this morning I was wondering if it might be time for the Flames to do some roster rotations to keep things fresh. It would be a great time for Lazar to start. One of the lower stakes games remaining and the team is playing well. That man must be hungry.

When I heard Tkachuk might be out, I was also thinking Lazar right into that spot as well. Leave all the other lines intact, and Curtis is going to be HUNGRY!

Obviously the big news is Elliott (and Tkachuk?) being out tonight; however, Stone being cleared for contact is awesome. Wideman has been effective since returning to the lineup but having both guys available down the stretch run and into the playoffs is huge from a depth standpoint.

As much as its about not messing with the streak and all that. At the same time, most coaches will tell you that a player shouldn't lose their spot due to an injury, so when they're healthy enough to go you put them in the lineup to earn their spot back.

lol, but it is broken. Albeit temporarily. Thats why Lazar would be in the lineup. But we'll wait and see what the official word is. Might be no reason to worry.
