Well, if we think it's unlikely the Flames catch the Sharks, then we need to also realize the gap between the Kings and Flames is pretty much the same as what separates the Sharks and Flames.

Guess Bitetto doesn't know what interference is. Takes his 2nd one of those penalties in this game.

Very true, however we play San Jose two more times as well -- if we win those that makes up 4 of the 9 point gap. A bit of wishful thinking, but were coming in hot!

Subban drives Haley into the Preds net when Haley is nowhere near the puck. No penalty called there to PK for some reason but it should've been one.

Such profanity! The eff word at least five times in two seconds before they cut that mic. The commentator diplomatically says "Predators not happy with the call".

(it wasn't on Burns, in the end).

Neal (I think) letting out some huge F-bombs as he goes to the PB. To be fair, it didn't look like a penalty when viewing the replay.

Arvidsson pinches the empty-netter from Subban. Preds win.

Thanks Sharks. Hopefully this makes the Capitals even more motivated to beat down the Kings.

Wonderful story on Bryan Bickell on CBC. Sure took a long time to get diagnosed.

For the last couple weeks Matthews has been the least impressive of the big 3 rookies. He doesn't seem to have the jump he had earlier in the season.

The Senators were down 1-0 after one period, they scored three straight goals in the second and continue to lead 3-1 in the third period.

The BJs were up 3-0 after twenty minutes, the Sabres came back to tie it 3-3 in the second period. Same score midway through the third period.

The Tarasenko, Steen, and Schwartz line have both goals so far, one in each period and it is 2-0 Blues.

Two Canucks out of the game tonight due to food poisoning, including Grandlund. Run of bad luck.

Leafs win in OT! Is that allowed? Leafs can win in OT?

The Senators win their sixth consecutive game 4-2 over Colorado. They poised to overtake the Habs for first place in the division.

The Sabres with an impressive 5-3 win over the BJs, that keeps their faint playoff hopes alive.

The Lightning win 3-2 in regulation time over the Panthers.

Kind of a chintzy goal called back on the Canucks. Oh well. Good. Don't want the Penguins losing to this bunch and being all riled up when they get to Calgary.
