Flames 8 Avs 4, with Iginla potting a hat trick. Fine by me.

All else being equal, Ovi passes Jarome on the all time goals list. No doubt Crosby passes Iggy's point total, but I wonder if Crosby ever breaks 600 goals? He's at 309 goals in 661 games played. Stammer is the next obvious choice to catch Iggy in goals when all is said and done. Stamkos is at 292 goals in 529 games played, but not a point per game player like Ovi and Sid, meaning he's probably not the same pedigree as those two.

Benn's relatively slow start to his career probably won't put him anywhere near the top 20 goal scorers of all time.

One thing is for sure, it'll be interested to see where these players finish on the all time lists. It'll be a treat to watch. If it wasn't for the damn lockouts Ovi & Jarome sat through, that would be one hell of an interesting finish to their careers.

Stammer? Is that really his nickname?

It would actually be kinda fitting. I'd be happy for him.

As long as it comes in a Flames win, I wouldn't be mad if he got #600 on Saturday.

Unless it conflicts with a Flames game, I'll be watching every Avs game until he scores it.

It's actually too bad he's not playing at the Dome. I think it'd be neat to see him score his 600th here and see the reaction from the crowd, which I'm sure would be a warm one. And I'd be ok with Beasely giving the ol' "Jaaroommee Iginla!" to announce it.

If he has an assist before he scores the 600th, then someone like Engelland should give him an obligatory fight, so that he can further burnish an already awesome rep with a Gordie Howe hat trick.

Why would Iginla fight Engelland? That's a bit of a mismatch...

Indeed - Engelland needs a couple more guys to make it a fair fight

What is absolutely awesome is that Jarome Iginla is more than likely going to eclipse 600 goals and 1300 points. Legitimately.

See? Wet blanket right on cue.

Is Drysaddle a game changer like Johnny is?
