Leafs are white hot right now as they also hammered the LA Kings on Saturday 5-0.

Don't remember the exact statistics, but Montreal with Carey Price has a win % of about .640 and .460 without

2 straight wins equals white hot? LOL.

EDIT: I guess if we're talking Leafs, that classifies as white hot.

When they are 'visually better' it's an irrelevant joke of a statement, but 'visually worse' is legit? I thought the wins were all that counted?

Either way, the Oilers tonight were clearly sitting on and protecting the lead... it worked

The Stars beat the Wild 6-3 with the help of two empty net goals. The Stars enjoy coming back to Minnesota, literally.

"Dallas (25-7-2) is 3-0-0 against Minnesota this season, including multi-goal comebacks in St. Paul the past two games. The Stars won 4-3 in overtime here Nov. 28 after overcoming a 3-0 deficit in the third period. "

Leafs have 31 points in 32 games with a goal differential of -6

Flames have 32 points in 33 games with a goal differential of -25.

Which team is more terrible?

Look I know its tough on the Leafs fan base, and clearly you don't know how to handle win streaks. I mean when most of the fan base that were around when the Leafs were actually decent are either drooling and senile or dead, and the only historical proof that they were good was filmed in black and white, or recorded on the radio, it means that you have a stunning lack of education and leadership in your fanbase, and you're proof positive of that.

But really, easy now champ, that vein of indignation pulsing in your forehead might just be an upcoming rage induced stroke, if you smell burnt toast you might want to dial 911.

Nowhere did I say the Leafs were awesome or going to make the playoffs.

Last year the Leafs were terrible. For a long time they have been terrible. When they were winning under Carlyle they were terrible.

This year they are playing well. Their roster is pretty terrible. But as a team this year they are not terrible. Not good, but not terrible.

They're 9-5-3 in their last 17 games. Not a terrible team.

Right, so we're using sample sizes to make these judgements are we? In that case, the Flames are 10-6-1 in their last 17 games. If I'm not mistaken, thats more wins and fewer losses than the Leafs over the same period. So I'd say that makes the Leafs more terrible. Unless I'm missing something?

Flames are 10-6-1 in their last 17 games. Not sure where you're going with this but the two teams seem pretty comparable in that stretch.
