I think "stand still and do nothing" also a questionable strategy on the PP.

Haha, I've never seen a bounce off the end boards like that. It absolutely stunned everyone on the ice and led to a deep Ferland breakaway.
You could even hear Rick Ball saying "I've never seen anything like that" quietly off air as they went to commercial.

Agreed. The kid put up 40 points last year. Why not give him a shot?

Gio is playing some crap hockey lately. Out of position, slow & weak on the puck. Dude must be hurt.

Ramo did a good job keeping the puck out of the net. That is good.

Ramo is legitimately playing well again tonight. I'm very happy about that.

Are wideman and Russell ever not scrambling in their own zone when they're on the ice?

Is there a stat counting missed shots? Surely the flames have to be at the top of that category.

I'm liking Ferland so far tonight - I say he gets a goal this game.

The shots are quite misleading again.
The caps could easily be up 2 or 3. Even the semi breakaway was a pretty simple save.

Stretches of legitimate goaltending aren't enough. Let's see 60 full minutes of legitimacy.
But yea, he looks great tonight. Absolutely.
