That would most likely be the 55-59th overall pick.

Ducks lose beauchemin and gain Bieksa. Thats a less intimidating team to play against next year

From general fanager, I see they have 8.2M in cap space and have 11F, 4D, 2G under contract for next year. Guys needed to sign:

-Baertschi (RFA)
-Adam Clendening (RFA)
-Yannick Weber (RFA but wasn't qualified so, UFA)
-Corrado (RFA)
-Any 4th line C (Brad Richardson / Sean Matthias both UFA's)

Do-able. They're not going to be any good, regardless, though. This isn't a playoff team. I do think this move is a good one for them if for no other reason than it gets younger guys into their lineup who have a chance to develop a bit like Clendening.

Ducks are going to ice Perry-Kesler-Getzlaf and 15 defensemen.

Chicago being 'worse' is a subjective argument.

Saad may be gone but someone else inevitably steps in and the major players are all still there.

Next year is Hossa's turn at the Conn Smythe.

This is going to make the Ducks even more fun to play (and hate) next season!

Without Saad they are not as good as they were with Saad.

Therefore, worse. I didn't say bad.

Yikes terrible trade for the Ducks. Older, uglier slower worse.

Thank God he stayed in our division. The guy is absolutely terrible. This also makes Anaheim a worse team which is good.

What the hell Anaheim?

Seriously... a 2nd?

At least there's a good chance we get to see Bikes K in the playoffs again.

Why trade Wisniekski only to trade for Bieksa?

Should have just traded the 3rd for Lack and kept Wis in that situation.

I took the advice of a bunch of people here and rewatched Gamed 6 and I cant believe how many times Hughson got to yeall 'and a Swing and a Miss' in regards to Bieksa.
