We are 11-4 in our last 15 games. That's some pretty consistent play if you ask me.

They play a great third period on almost a nightly basis.
That said, the last few games they have been completely dominated (for the most part) in the first period of games.
Hopefully they start playing complete games soon, or the losses may outnumber the wins down the stretch.

I'll be expecting the wheels to fall off until we lock up a playoff spot ... so I'll skip out on answering this one.

Personally I think we've been pretty rough lately. I'm not sure what game people were watching against Vancouver, but I thought we were really sloppy. Vancouver was just worse. SJ is really the only good game we've played in the last 5.
I think we can pull out of it, but I worry we're getting tired and our youthful inexperience is showing.

Someone did the maths on what the expected record the Flames needed to make the playoffs was down the stretch. I somehow remember it being a two-games above .500 record to make it in.

2 or 3 games about should do it, they have the tiebreaker on almost everyone too...only 3 loser points!

7-3-0 last 10. Won last 2. Boston, Pitt, LA, SJx2, Van, Jets, Wild 8 of those 10 games. So 5-3 against playoff contenders. Won both the games we should have against Sabres and Oil. How can this be called anything close to a skid. We do not have to win EVERY game to get in the playoffs. These other contenders are as hungry as we are so if we do 50-50 against the contenders and 3 of 4 against the losers we will be just fine. It is going to be tough from here on out but we are hardly showing signs of a skid and should expect some losses.

I think people are seeing signs of a Cup Contender
This team has looked better than any Flames playoff team since the last division winning squad with Huselius etc.
But let's not rush so far ahead, as there are some obvious flaws that need to be addressed before we can be expecting playoff spots consistently.

Someone mentioned earlier and I agree
1. Need to come out flying every game instead of waiting for the third period to show up
2. Brodie needs to tone down the high risk plays hes been making some noticble blunders lately that will start to burn him
3. Need a more skilled young 3rd pairing Dman to solidify the D
4. Run with hiller from now on except back to backs
5. ?????
6. Playoffs

I expect the Flames to tank, but they keep winning. It's a winning proposition - short term wise.
