QOTD: How long will Ferland be in the AHL?

he didn't have the points but he sure was playing some strong hockey his last few games. As the lineup stands today, I agree that he is the first forward call up.

He didn't really do anything wrong but he also didn't really do anything to deserve to be full time. Little offense, little nasty to his game. If he isn't scoring he needs to be laying the body and being mean. Similar to his junior days. I think he's a bit gun shy still.

He only got a chance because 4.... count 'em 4 forwards were on IR. well actually counting Jones 5.

These guys are not going to be healthy scratches. If Byron (scoreless in 10) Raymond (scoreless in 8) haven't been sat yet what do they have to do to get sat?

Bollig is the #13 forward and has only sat for 4 out of 31 games.


Ferland gets called up if the Flames start looking too small and are willing to bench Raymond.

Otherwise Ferland is the first call up if Glencross , Jones, Bouma, Colbone are hurt

If Monahan or Stajan or Jooris is hurt Knight is first up

Baertschi is first up if anyone else is hurt.

If either Jones, Raymond, Colborne, Stajan, Bouma, Bollig get injured Ferland will get called up.
With that being said Stajan Colborne and Raymond should not get PP time or anymore than 10 min until they are fully up to speed. Currently they are hurting the teams progress.
