This is for Dominos, not Pizza 73, and basically has nothing to do with this thread, but remains one of the funniest things I've ever read on the internet:http://www.thesneeze.com/2007/the-gr...ation-test.php |

My apologies if you are a supportive father and are forced to eat a slice... On the other hand, be damn proud that your son eats like a Calder Winner!

Will be curious how they handle the crowds. I think that location is just a walkup counter and parking is a real bitch.

I'm leaving in an hour to go so I'll report on the crowds when I get back. Gonna try and sneak in a jersey signature... we'll see how that goes haha

Just got back, if you saw a small female freezing in her grey coat with her Flames jersey underneath, that was me.
Not a bad line, had to wait outside maybe 20 minutes. No jersey signings, kids got let in first. You could take a pic with him and he autographed a Pizza 73 flyer thing for you with him as the cover.

We're honestly about the same size in person.

Yes, but the event was just advertised as a book signing venue on Theo's website. It wasn't until people arrived that they sprung the "only our books allowed to be signed" thing.

I remember I was livid as I had just drove from Edmonton at the time.

This is a bit different with gaudreau.

But i'd be interested in knowing if anyone went, and if they were as stingy on the policy as their facebook page said.

5'4" and I'd say he was maybe an inch or two above me as much as his player card with his height listed seems to disagree!

They also handed out pizza for all of us waiting in the cold, that was nice of them.

Yeah before this year, they had him listed as 5' 7" everywhere and then all of a sudden they have him listed as 5' 9". Saw him at winsport also and definitely didn't look like he was 5' 9"

You're both right - he is nowhere near 5'9". Maybe 5'7" but I think that's still an inch too high.

Maybe he kept his gear on when getting measured. 5'9" with skates?

Teams seem to lie about the height of their players a lot. I met Jonathan Toews once and there is no way in hell he is 6'2. I'm only 6' and I was taller than him.

They use a special ruler to measure the height of the smaller players:

I assume, and I'm not even kidding that those heights are listed with their skates on. NBA players are the same, I think they measure them wearing their shoes.

Not a chance. I have family that knows him and have stood next to him several times. No way is he under 6 feet. That's nonsense.

I've been measured at the doctors office and was told I was 5'10. A few years ago I met Mike Cammalleri at a meet and greet and I was about an inch, inch and a bit taller than him. He is listed at 5'9 so that sounds about right.
There is no way Gaudreau is as tall as Cammalleri.
