Just wanted to throw this site out there for people looking to build a new PC.

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/

This is a great way to make different builds to see what you'd be looking at cost wise. People also submit their own builds so you can see what other people are building at various price points.

I have about 50 games on steam from past sales and Humble Bundle I never touched already so I'll be busy

It's funny I'm most excited to play some of my older games I already played on low settings on my laptop, first 2 I'll probably get into again are Portal 2 and Diablo 3
Can you post your specs and price if you have them? I'm in the market as well.

I was thinking of getting my son a new laptop, he does a lot of gaming, what would I be looking for in a video card, and general specs?

Bump.

I'm in the market for a new PC. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

The main use of this gaming PC will be World of Warcraft played @ 1080p.

Budget is ~$600 for the PC. Already have a monitor.

Here's a chart that will give you some ideas. The prices look to be in US dollars though so just change the country to Canada.

use shopbot to find the best prices and NCIX and Memory Express will price match.
