Let's not derail the thread too much, but maybe do a little research. Your ignorance is showing.

Find the leader, snatch his wives and children, find the other members of the group, find their families and snatch them.
Your not going to beat these guys with rational and good hopes. You kidnap important people to their leaders and start shipping them body parts for every day that those girls are missing.
At this point you have nothing to lose, most of those girls have probably already been killed or shipped to other countries, or offered up as rape victims to the members of that group.
At this point, find their soft spot and exploit it in the most horrific way possible.

Sounds like WhiteTiger may be involved with the suppression of these stories gauging their human relevancy against his own.
These are brutal crimes. I believe this same gang is reported to have slaughtered a village of 150+ people as well.
This is the kind of place you want some tech to go awry and make an accidental landing on these people.

Ok...the fact that 200+ kids went missing at one time is tragic, and it's a horrible thing. But it happened in Africa, and I feel that the US and Canada have no right to be sending troops over there to police for them. I am sure that they'll appreciate that about as much as the US or Canada would appreciate them sending over a task force if something like that happened here.
In regards to my other statement, taken from the official Canadian government websites "Fast Facts" sheet on missing persons for 2013, there were 20,062 adults and 41,035 children reported missing. For Alberta specifically, there were 1956 adults and 3633 children reported missing. I stand by my original statement...thousands go missing every year, it's not news.
Do I think it's not a problem? Certainly not. However, I think a better thing to do would be to look at the reasons why people go missing and address those.

There's a difference between the missing in North America and the missing in Africa where some d-bags kidnapped 200 kids to sell off.
You also don't have to ignore one issue to care about the other issue.

I can't really help you if you don't think the fact that a specific ethnic group makes up an incredibly disproportionate amount of missing women is newsworthy. Maybe ask yourself why that isn't newsworthy and then try to get back to the topic at hand.

I just read on the news feed in my elevator that the Pentagon is sending a small team to assist in locating the missing girls.

Imagine if this happened in North America? If our country was a third wold ####hole that allowed things like this to happen, we would not have the luxury of sitting around with nothing better to do than comment on the internet about it.
But we don't live in a country like that, so comments like yours are meaningless.
