Phaneuf and Kadri bobble it in the faceoff circle and Simmonds makes them pay from the slot. 4-2 Flyers. Primary assist should be given to Phaneuf on that one. Couldn't handle the hot potato with his gloves as he tried to settle it down when it was bouncing.
As an aside, it's the 7th straight game the Leafs have given up the first goal.

Lucky for the Leafs with tonight's loss that Colombus lost as well. Still a four way tie for the final two wild card spots. Tomorrow's Toronto-Detroit game will be rather large.

The same can be said by switching the teams around. The Red Wings, Capitals, and the Devils are happy that both teams lost. It will be fun on the OOT tomorrow as all four teams plus the Devils are playing on Saturday.
