You aren't going to win many games that you give up 40+ shots.

Has a team ever gone through an 82 game season without getting a shutout? I find it hard to imagine this team will be able to shut out any team this season as limiting a team to 2 goals almost seems unreachable.

This team has not limited the opposition to a one goal game this season. I think they have only had 3, 2 goal games against. Thats pretty sad. I do like the way Berra plays and hopefully he can develop into a #1.

He's looked pretty good. Gets his big body in the way of the puck and has quick legs. Needs to work on rebound control but it's tough when it's a shooting gallery like last night. The only way the Flames will get a shutout is if their opponent that night mails it in which may be possible later in the season if they are playing teams in the chase for the 1st overall draft pick.

Definitely baertchi's strongest game and love that you called out the play where he took the hit to get past centre. That's the first game this year where he looked like an nhler to me.

I am less impressed with Berra for last night than most. He had loungo syndrome IMO. 40+ saves, sure, but it was 2 for 1 night on shots. Way too many rebounds in play. He'll learn.
