I remember year after year there was hope that Hemsky would finally be that star player they wanted, who just kept showing brilliance but was so wildly inconsistent. I really am surprised they have kept him the past few years, he has become a 2nd liner at best.

I really don't see where he fits in Philadelphia, though Read has been having a really poor season. Despite the tough year, Simmonds should be getting more ice time. I think Philly should have stuck it out, they are a much better team than how they are playing and Hemsky is not a fix.
