Lots of fights in the Leafs/Islanders but I suspect the Leafs will put their goons away for the most part going forward.

Jets on a brief 5 on 3. Carolina 2 penalties in the first 3 minutes.

Rangers up 3-1 on Panthers after two.

There's not a snowball's chance in hell that Panthers will turn this around.

We might have to lose all of our remaining games just to remain in 25th.

Your best option would be NHL on the Fly unless you have the Centre Ice package.

One of the best eastern games is on TVA Sports in french, Capitals at Senators. The Senators lead 2-1 in the second period.

The other eastern game to watch is the Islanders at Leafs and the Islanders lead 4-2 after two periods. The stinkin' Leafs were up 2-0 early in the first period.

The Lightning at Habs game is on RDS in french. Montreal leads 1-0 in the second period.

The Devils at Flyers game is on NBCSN and TSN. The Flyers desperately need to win this game but the Devils lead 1-0 also in the second period.

Florida is long gone out of range for the Flames and likely Colorado. I think big thing now is to watch the teams around us both ahead and below and just hope we don't pass any of the teams ahead of us at this point.

Carolina, TB, Nashville and Edmonton should be the main focus now and hope they get as many points as they can.

Through (almost) one period in the canes/jets game and Carolina has put up a respectable 2 SOG.

About time Tampa. They hit four posts before putting that one in. So frustrating.

Skille and Moore dropped the gloves in the Panthers@Rangers game.

And I think moon is right about the Avs and Panthers. These two teams are not going to finish above us.

Contrasting the Red Wings effort against the Flames yesterday and the Jets versus Carolina today is quite eye-opening. The Jets are actually playing with heart.

I did not realize how bad that Carolina roster was.

Perhaps I got sucked in with the big names but after the Staals, Ward and Skinner there is a whole lot of crap on that roster.

Their defensemen are a bunch of garbage. Maybe it shouldn't be this shocking that they are this bad.
